Hazrat Aishah Gets Angry with his nephew Hazrat Ibn-Zubair

Aisha gets angry with Ibn-Zubair :

Abdullah-bin-Zubair was Aisha's nephew. He was very dear to her as she had brought him up. He did not like her spending so much in charity while she herself lived in want and poverty. He mentioned this to somebody and said :
"I must  stop her from doing that"

She learnt about it and was so much upset that she swore not to speak with Abdullah for the rest of her life. Abdullah-bin-Zubair (Radhiallaho anho) was very much shocked by her oath. He disputed many people to speak to her for him but she told them, "I have taken an oath and I am not prepared to violate it." He, at least took two persons from the family of the prophet's mother to her house to intercede for him. Aisha (R-A) allowed the persons to enter the house and to speak to her from behind a curtain. Ibn Zubair (Radhiallaho anho) also stealthily got in with the persons. When the persons started talking, he could not control himself aand crossed the curtain and fell at the feet of her aunt and entreating her for pardon. The two persons also interceded and reminded her of the Prophet's forbidding a Muslim from discarding speech with another Muslim. When she heard this hadith she got Scared of ALLAH's displeasure and the result thereof and began to weep very bitterly. She forgave zubair and began to speak with him. She was then liberating slave after slave in expiation of her oath till 40 slaves had been set free by her. Even later on whenever she thought of the violation of her oath, she wept so much that her shawl would become wet with her tears.
How much do we worry for the oaths we take from morning till evening? It is for everyone to examine his own self and answer. Come and see the people who had real reverence for ALLAH and his name, how much did they feel when they were unable to fulfill an oath. We see

Abu Bakar and the Fear of ALLAH

Hazrat Abu Bakar and His Fear for ALLAH 

According to our belief Abu Bakar (R.A) is the most exalted person after the prophets (may peace be on all of them) The Prophet (PBUH) himself conveyed to him the glad tiding of his being the head of a group of noble persons in paradise. The prophet (S.A.W) once remarked :

" Abu Bakar name shall be called out from all the gates of paradise and he will be the first of my followers to enter it. "

With all these virtues and privileges, Abu Bakar used to say :
" I wish  I were a tree that would be cut and done with. "

Some times he would say :
" I wish I were a blade of grass whose a hair on the body of a Muslims. "

He  also said :
" I wish I were a hair on the body of a Momin. "


Once he went to a garden where he saw a bird singing. He sighed deeply and said :

" O, bird ! How lucky you are ! You eat, you drink and fly under the shade of the tress and you fear no reckoning of the day of judgement. I wish I were just like you. "

Fear of ALLAH

Coupled with the remarkable spirit of sacrifice the Sahabah had a genuine and deep-rooted fear of ALLAH in their hearts. I wish today's Muslim could have an iota of that fear of ALLAH. Here are few stories about this aspect of their lives.

The Prophet's Apprehensions at the time of Gale :

Aisha (Radiallaho anha) relates that whenever a strong wind bringing dense clouds started blowing, the Prophet's face turned pale with the fear of ALLAH, He became restive and would go in and out with commotion and would recite the following prayer,

"O, my ALLAH ! I ask Thee the good out of this wind, the good out of that which is in this wind and the good out of that which is the outcome of this wind. I seek refuge in Thee from the evil out of this wind. I seek refuge in Thee from the evil out of this wind, from the evil of that which is in this wind and from the evil out of that which is the outcome of this wind,"

She says :

When it began to rain, signs of delight appeared on his face. I said to him once, "O, Prophet of ALLAH, when clouds appear everybody is happy as they fore-tell rain, but why is it that I see you so much perturbed at that time?" He replied, "O, Aisha ! How can I feel secure that this wind does not portend ALLAH's wrath? The A'ad were punished with the wind, They were happy when they beheld the gathering dense clouds believing that they brought rain, but actually those clouds brought not rain but utter destruction to A'ad." The prophet( PBUH) was, obviously, referring to the following verses of Quran :
